Jason R. Pera

A Bay Area native, Jason Pera grew up in San Jose working in his family’s century old French bread bakery and attended Bellarmine College Preparatory.  It is at these 2 institutions he credits with instilling in him the values of responsibility and accountability. 

Jason graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2003.  Upon graduation he returned to the Bay Area and began in his career in the financial planning industry.  Jason continued to grow his practice when he joined Stark Miller in 2004.  This afforded him the opportunity to expand his expertise by adding a niche in qualified plans.  In 2007 he achieved his Certified Financial Planner designation. 

Jason frames his practice around the concept of wealth.  Jason defines wealth as more than just money but the combination of personal, intellectual, social and financial capital.  In addition, to his experience with qualified plans Jason’s specialties include individual retirement planning, and estate planning.

When not working to find solutions for his clients, Jason devotes his time to his high school sweetheart, now wife, Nichole and their 4 beautiful and very active children … needless to say there is never a dull moment at the Pera house!  Jason also enjoys cooking, sports and relaxing with a nice glass of wine.   He is very active in his community and is particularly passionate about organizations focused on education and job development.
